The Door Christian Fellowship Church of Kingsville, Texas immediately took action to help minimize the spread of the Covid-19/Coronavirus by going to an online-only method for members and visitors to worship with us. However beginning December 2, 2020 our church services are fully live including nursery. Beginning December 16, 2020 we have suspended our online services and will only make our recent online sermons still available to watch.
On September 13, 2020, the Texas government has granted for churches to open; however, there are concerns and cautions to avoid having to reclose the church services again. We ask that you--member and visitor--please observe the following rules/conditions.
- Children of all ages are welcome to attend services; however, if they are ill including but not limited to fevers, congestion, runny nose, etc. we ask that you please not bring your children and/or make other child care arrangements (even if the child is under medication).
- We will be taking everyone's temperature at the church entrance. NOTE: If your temperature is 100˚ or higher and/or you are displaying symptoms of the Covid-19 virus, you will be asked to please go home to rest and recover.
- Every person admitted entrance will be given am opportunity to acquire a small squirt of hand sanitizer. We ask that you refrain from leaving the church building until the conclusion of the service to avoid recontaminating yourself.
- Ushers will direct individuals and families to designated areas in the sanctuary. Families are allowed to sit together by occupying seats next to them; however, they must provide at least 6' (two chairs) distance between their family and another member. Inidviduals who come by themselves will also be escorted to designated seats with allowance for a two-seat space between them and another congregant.
- Please provide your own face mask. We encourage anyone (recommendation, not a requirement) who is not serving in platform ministry to wear a mask.
